First City Recruitment part of the First City Group are recruiting Care Assistants / Support Workers to work as agency staffing within Swindon and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for experienced Care Assistants wanting either full time or part time flexible work.

Support Planner

As a SHAPE facilitator you will be responsible for the assessment and writing of strength based care plans, risk assessing, MAR detailing, Auditing and compliance.

Location: Swindon

Salary: £24,960 - Additional earning exist within the company

Hours: Monday to Friday 08.30-17.00

No on call responsibilities with this position

In this role you will be working closely with the client and their care team to create and tailor their own package of care. You will be required to think outside the box about alternatives to formal care services and understand how to utilise local services and facilities to deliver a truly person centred service that is compliant with standards set by CQC.

As a SHAPE facilitator you will be required to attend assessments and rebuilds with the client and their families and liaise with a variety of professionals across the health sector. First city works closely with a vast array of clients and services so adaptability is a must.

For this role you must have a background of at least 12 months in care delivery, hold a level 2 qualification, equivalent or above in health and social care and you MUST drive with access to your own vehicle.

Accountancy Apprenticeship

Up to £13312 per annum Pension, Full Training

The role as Apprentice Payroll Administrator is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to work within a busy team based in Swindon. An Ideal entry level position if you would like a career in Payroll / Finance.

You will be given the opportunity to get involved in a multiple array of tasks whilst working towards your apprenticeship.

You will be contributing to the successful performance of the existing Finance Team, providing assistance and support to them in managing accounts. You will be supported to develop your accounting and administrative abilities and gain relevant skills and experience to further your career in finance and accounting. This is an excellent opportunity to acquire and hone practical accounting skills in a professional environment alongside a formal qualification.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Using Sage L50 to execute payrolls and complete the necessary reporting, full training given.
  • Working with Aged Debtor Reports to highlight areas of concern to the relevant parties.
  • Investigation, classification and resolution of queries that may arise
  • Other Duties within the Finance Department where necessary to enrich your career in Finance
  • Customer facing with good communication skills
  • Be highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks and ability to learn and put into practice new skills
  • Collaborate with internal teams, ensuring accurate and sensitive information sharing in line with data protection regulations
  • Complete course work on time and to a high standard and Produce, maintain and be responsible for content, accuracy and sign off of assessments completed

Skills :

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and good numerical skills

Requirements:

  • Be 16 years of age or older
  • Must have at least a grade C or 4 GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English or willing to undertake Functional Skills as part of the course
  • Have an understanding and/or interest in Accounting/Finance

Duration:

The Apprenticeship will take between 12 - 18 months to complete

Courses available Accountancy (AAT) Level 2 or 3 depending previous qualifications

Salary: £13,312 per annum, for the 1st year - Rate will be assessed after a year.

Location: Swindon

Hours: 08.30am -16:30pm. Monday - Friday

Some flexibility in hours may be required to suit the needs of the business.

Working in a blended role supporting children, young people and adults is a unique opportunity. You will support people from within the comfort of their own homes and out in the community.

When working with children the hours tend to be after school, around term times and Weekends.

Rate of pay: £12.96 - £13.72 plus mileage

Positions available: Full time, Part time, Weekends

Hours: Mornings with 7am starts and/or Evenings with 11pm finishes

We support those with; Autism, Epilepsy, Cerebral Palsy, Global developmental delay, Challenging behaviours, Learning disabilities, Dementia, Parkinson's, Strokes, Huntington disease and Mental health challenges.

Full driving licence and access your own vehicle is essential for this role

Duties can include-

  • Supporting and encouraging independence
  • Support within the persons home and out in the community
  • Support customers with their daily routine and individual requirements as outlined in their person centred care plan
  • Assisting with personal care such as showering, bathing, incontinence care
  • Helping with mobility
  • Administering medication
  • Preparing meals, Shopping Calls and Light domestic tasks
  • Liaising with other healthcare professionals
  • Develop appropriate working relationships with families and young people
  • Offer strategies for development of social skills
  • To act as a role model at all times
  • Thinking outside the box for activities planning ahead of the visits
  • Be able to write clear daily reports, incident reports and accident reports
