How long have you worked with First City? I have been working for First City since May 2020 as a healthcare assistant. It's been a rewarding experience, and I'm grateful for the opportunities it has provided me.
What was your occupation before working with First City? I also worked as a healthcare assistant before joining First City.
Where are you studying, ad what is your course? I am currently pursuing a BSc (Honours) in Adult Nursing through the Open University in partnership with Oxfor University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
What is your future plan post-studies? Working with First City has been incredibly helpful for my studies. Balancing work and study can be challenging at times, however First City have been very supportive and accommodating, offering me shifts based on my availability when I'm not in school. I used to work full-time before starting my course, and they were understanding when I needed to reduce my working hours to focus on my studies.
Would you recommend working with First City alongside studying, and if so, for what reasons? Absolutely! I would recommend First City to anyone considering working alongside their studies. The supportive environment, flexible scheduling, and understanding staff make it a great place to work while pursuing your educational goals.
Any additional comments? The staff at First City are fantastic and have always been there to support me in my journey. I am truly thankful for the opportunity to grow both professionally and academically with their help.
