1. What excites you about working in healthcare?

I love speaking to many people on the phones every day, it brings me joy being able to help our customers or to even have a little chat with them when they need someone to speak to.

2. How did you find the induction training with First City?

The induction was very informative and fun at the same time. You are not just sat down for the whole week, there’s many practical elements to enhance your learning and making sure you retain the information your learning. It is also a great opportunity to meet your future colleagues so you can start to build a relationship with people that will be working in different environments to you.

3. How has your introduction to the role of Apprentice Care Coordinator been?

My induction into the role has been very smooth, everyone is lovely and will always offer help when I need it. Everyone is very knowledgeable of the roles they are doing and it is always good to learn about the different roles so we can work together and support one another.

4. What have you enjoyed most about the role so far?

I would say my favourite part of the job has been meeting everyone I work with, everyone is so lovely and always offer support when I need it.

5. Thinking about the start of your journey working with First City, how would you describe the company?

The company is very good and supportive with its staff, there is always an opportunity to grow within the company and you aways have access to support to get you where you want to be.

6. What would you say to someone considering undertaking an apprenticeship in a Care Coordinator role?

It is a very good way to gain a qualification, I would always recommend someone to get an apprenticeship because you are always working and learning at the same time.
